Adapted Accessibility
Products we create are made by people with disabilities for people with disabilities.
Adapted Accessibility, a division of Lifetime Assistance, Inc., was established in 2026 in Rochester, New York, through a transformative gift from the B. Thomas Golisano Foundation. This impactful support made it possible to launch the division in an effort to help create more jobs for people with and without disabilities, as well as provide an opportunity for people to learn new job skills and enhance their confidence and independence.
By combining creativity, collaboration, and hands-on skill development, our team helps design products that are practical, thoughtful, and empowering.
Every product we create represents opportunity, inclusion, and purpose.
Through meaningful employment and supportive training, we are building a workplace where abilities are recognized, talents are developed, and individuals are empowered to contribute with pride.

"I like working in the 3D room. I learned how to do everything. I learned how to take the printed pieces off the tray and place screws inside of the switches so they can be put together. Learning how to use the machine to place the screws inside the switches was hard but I learned that I could take my time and I don't have to rush." - Joe

"I like printing 3D products because it's fun to do and I like doing it because it's something different. I had a hard time pinning the screws inside the bottom of the switches, but Sam worked with me and taught me how to do it." - Michael
