A Continued Educational Path for Any Employee

Starting a brand new position as a DSP doesn’t have to be scary! At LAI, you will be fully equipped with the tools and training to excel in your career, and this starts right upon hire! LAI will assign you a success coach that will be with you every step of the way as you begin your new job! Plus, all your training and the beginning of your new job and throughout your career at Lifetime Assistance is paid training!

Hands on Learning: Our new training center is conveniently located on a bus line and will serve as a centralized hub for onboarding, skills development, leadership training, and continued education across all departments. Newly hired DSPs will then be given the opportunity to shadow at their assigned location the first week of employment! But our training center isn’t just for new employees. Since it’s newly equipped with modern technology, flexible learning spaces, and resources tailored to a wide range of training needs, it will support employees at every stage of their career.

Streamlined Training: Our L&D Coaches provide trainings in a variety of ways that helps each employee feel confident in their new role. With a focus on enhancing both instructor-led and e-learning experiences, we make training engaging and accessible, fostering continuous development and excellence across the organization.

Coaching Support: Every DSP is assigned a coach to ensure a smooth transition from training to first day on the job!

Paving the Way for Ongoing Professional Growth

Are you in school, going back to school, or micro credentialing? No matter how you want to continue your education, LAI embraces your decision and is excited to emotionally and financially support you on your journey through our career pathways programs. We offer the following incentives as a way to support you and your career at Lifetime Assistance:

Tuition Assistance: Looking to complete a 2 or 4 year degree? Receive 50% off the cost of tuition and other education related expenses for up to 2 courses per semester!

Sponsorship Opportunities: For degrees, trade programs or certificates, you could be awarded up to $3,000 per semester that can be used toward tuition fees or living expenses! The scholarship is paid directly to the student to use at their discretion.

Microcredentialing: DSPs can earn college credit in as little as 6 months! Through a partnership with SUNY, students can earn a $750 stipend at the end of each program.

New Employee Training and Transition Coaches, along with Manager Success Coaches, work with new employees to ensure they settle into their new roles, complete required compliance training, and have their questions answered. The coaches provide suggestions, resources, and site-specific encouragement.
