Benefits
Great Benefits
In addition to competitive wages, our benefits for full and part-time employees include:
Health Insurance
If you are regularly scheduled for 20 hours or more per week, you are eligible to enroll in medical and dental insurance. Single, two person and family plans are available. The agency pays a significant amount of the cost of medical and dental insurance for regular, full-time employees. For regular, part-time employees, costs are pro-rated.
Retirement Plans
As we grow older, we realize that we should plan for tomorrow today. That is why Lifetime provides eligible employees retirement benefits that are important for your future. The Lifetime Assistance Retirement Plan (401A) and the Employee Tax Deferred Plan (403B) have been established for this purpose. If you qualify, you will automatically be enrolled in the Lifetime Assistance Retirement Plan, which is fully funded by Lifetime Assistance. In addition, you may enroll in the Employee Tax Deferred Plan (403B) immediately upon hire and begin saving right away.
Generous Paid Time Off
A generous bank of paid time off (PTO) is provided to full and part-time regular employees to be used for illness, vacation or personal use.
Tuition Reimbursement
You are eligible to participate in the tuition reimbursement program if you have been employed in a benefits-eligible position for a minimum of one year and are regularly scheduled for 20 hours or more per week. Lifetime offers generous tuition reimbursement benefits.
Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to tuition reimbursement, Lifetime Assistance employees who have been employed with the agency a minimum of two years, and who work 20 hours or more in a benefits eligible position, are eligible to receive a scholarship up to $500 for continued education.
Want to save more tax dollars?
Lifetime Assistance sponsors a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for medical, dental and dependent care expenses. The FSA is a simple way for you to put aside money, TAX FREE, to cover the everyday expenses you know you will have in the coming year. Because contributions to a FSA are made before taxes are taken out of your pay, you can reduce your total taxable income and get to keep more of every dollar you earn.
Value Diversity
Lifetime Assistance is committed to understanding and valuing the differences of our employees and the individuals we support. We are committed to creating a culture that promotes mutual respect, acceptance, and cooperation among individuals of diverse backgrounds.
Employee Discount Purchases
The agency is a member of My Better Benefits, which provides reduced prices for coupon books, discounts to theaters, theme parks, concerts, cultural events, sporting events and special events as well as other special promotions.
Lifetime Assistance Employees Also Receive Career and advancement opportunities.
Lifetime Assistance is committed to promoting from within the agency whenever possible. It is for this reason we are so committed to employees continuing their education and receiving quality training. We have many employees who began their careers at Lifetime Assistance as a relief counselor and now hold a leadership position within the agency. Come join the Lifetime family and learn the meaning of “success.”
Lifetime strives to keep work FUN! Throughout the year Lifetime hosts many different events to build a sense of community among our employees, including staff parties, “STAR” employee recognition awards and Employee of the Month celebrations.
