2018 Joanne Mills Award

Shocked, surprised and well deserved. Introducing this year’s Joanne Mills Award winner.

2018 Joanne Mills Award

Kara Cannarozzo says she was stunned. “I don’t feel that I have done anything that any of the other nurses at Lifetime Assistance would not do,” Kara said. But when Kara was named the recipient of the 2018 Joanne Mills Award, she admitted she was both shocked and surprised.

“Receiving the Joanne Mills Award is a true honor,” Kara said. “I am truly blessed to work with such a wonderful, supportive group of nurses in such a rewarding field. Thank you to everyone who nominated me for the Joanne Mills Award.”

Joanne, likewise, would be pleased. Throughout her 24 years as a Registered Nurse and Associate Director with Lifetime Assistance, Joanne Mills dedicated her career to creating a culture of caring by constantly reminding her peers: “It’s all about the people we serve.”

Joanne was a difference maker, and Debra Argus, Lifetime’s Director of Health Services, agrees that Kara personifies everything Joanne stood for.
